Join us to celebrate America's birthday on July 4, 2026... Brown County Style! Celebrate 250 years of history, education and culture ending with a Countywide Celebration July 4, 2026 at the Brown County Fairgrounds.

 This 'Semiquincentennial' will be celebrated all across the United States to honor America's legacy and heritage. Embrace the rich history, diversity, and culture that have shaped our nation, and join us in commemorating this significant milestone in a traditional yet modern setting. Our goal is to foster togetherness and create a joyful experience for all attendees.

If you would like to volunteer with us, join us at our next Meeting.  Meetings are held at the Brown County ESC Bldg, on Hamer Rd., Georgetown, OH and start at 6:30pm unless noted.  Our meeting schedule is as follows:

 

  • Tuesday, April 28th

  • Tuesday, May 26th

  • Tuesday, June23rd

America's 250th Birthday Parade - July 4, 2026

On behalf of the America 250 Brown County Committee, we invite you to join us for a All American Parade.  Parade details will be shared later but plans to start parade at 10am fromGeorgetown Behavioral Hospital at 425 Home Street and end in the Horse Ring at the Brown County Fairgrounds. Full Map details to be shared later.

Candy and Items may be handed to parade goers but do not thrown from floats or vehicles.  Please sign up to show interest and follow up with details will be provided at a later date.
